If you are not a 1% bike club member and want to know what it's like or what is required then you should read Out In Bad Standings. This book reads like a diary and frankly I don't see how Edward Winterhalder remembers so much details. Like a diary some parts are slow but well worth reading through. Out In Bad Standings gives a great account of not only the life of an interesting guy, but a glimpse into how 1%'er bikers from one club or independents interact with other clubs and keep the peace. If you've already read Assimilation you might find Out In Bad Standings a repeat performance and not a good value. If you didn't read Assimilation get this book as it's a much broader view into biker life.
